  • Overview

    The Financial Reporting Coordinator is primarily responsible for the end-to-end production, quality control and distribution of standard and ad-hoc client reports.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Prepare standard and custom reports to produce high quality packages used in client meetings.
    • Ensure quality, accuracy, cohesiveness and timely delivery of client reporting.
    • Develop processes and mechanics to ensure consistency in content across all deliverables.
    • Maximize automation potential of client reporting for efficient production.
    • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy of results including returns-based analysis.
    • Develop in-depth knowledge and comprehension of investment strategies, data, metrics, business and products and the requirements of stakeholders.
    • Generally participate in various analytical projects required in the portfolio analytics group:
    • Provide support to and back up team-members as needed.
    • Respond to inquiries about performance methodology and reporting.
    • Assist in GIPS compliance and required documentation.

    Qualifications & Skills

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/ABILITIES):

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
    • Accountable with excellent attention to detail.
    • Demonstrated client service and interpersonal skills, both written and oral .
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Solid understanding of the investment management industry.
    • General knowledge and technical aptitude for working with software and technology platforms (MS Office,  First Rate, FactSet, InvestEdge, Bloomberg, Advent Axys, and PSN Enterprise).
    • Knowledge of investment management operations, with a focus on security valuation, portfolio accounting, or performance measurement is preferred.
    • CIPM designation is desired for this role (or progress towards).

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • 1-3 years related experience
    • Financial services experience strongly preferred 

    EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, finance or business preferred
