    The position provides support to ASB for portfolio management and trading responsibilities, especially with regard to fixed income. 


    Duties & Responsibilities

    Duties and Responsibilities


    -       Execute purchases and sales, maintain Wall Street relationships

    -       Ensure proper portfolio positioning, trade allocation and settlement

    -       Produce and manage quarterly and ad hoc reports

    -       Manage asset allocation spreadsheets

    -       Monitor markets and identify investment opportunities

    -       Research and review fixed income holdings

    -       Maintain integrity of client investment allocations including quality, duration, and relative value

    -       Prepare reports and analysis for prospect and client meetings

    -       Special projects and other duties as assigned



    Qualifications & Skills

    Job Requirements (Skills/Abilities)


    -       Demonstrated attention to detail and academic accomplishment

    -       Interest in financial markets and institutional investing

    -       Ability to work independently, as well as in a team and support environment

    -       Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Ability to design spreadsheets using formulas, linking cells, and graphing functions

    -       Desire to learn new systems and improve operating efficiency

    -       Strong Analytical and organizational skills

    -       Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks





    -       1-5 years related experience

    -       Experience with Bloomberg and other trading systems




    -       Undergraduate degree, interest in pursuing CFA or Masters
