    B. F. Saul Company, a private real estate company is seeking a motivated financial systems administrator/analyst.  As a staff member of the Financial Systems group within the Accounting Department, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of accounting-related projects across several lines of business (hospitality, residential, office, and retail) and staff units.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Develop, maintain, and document custom reports and queries
    • Administer various accounting systems, including user access
    • Help ensure that business and accounting concepts are consistently applied
    • Provide end user onboarding, training, and support
    • Participate in key business processes (e.g., budget)
    • Assist with business process improvement and technology initiatives

    Qualifications & Skills


    • Training or experience with GAAP and/or SOX compliance is a plus
    • Experience with reporting/business intelligence platforms (e.g., SSRS and Cognos)
    • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL)
    • Intermediate to expert Excel proficiency
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Proactive self-starter with a willingness to learn
    • Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar accounting systems is a plus
    • Prior real estate experience is a plus



    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Major in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
    • 3 to 5 years of related experience
    • CPA preferred
