    B. F. Saul Company, a private real estate company, is seeking a motivated Financial Systems Developer/Analyst.  As a staff member of the Financial Systems group within the Accounting department, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of accounting related projects across several lines of business (hospitality, residential, office and retail) and staff units.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Develop, maintain, and document custom business applications, reports and queries
    • Administer various accounting systems, including user access
    • Help ensure that business and accounting concepts are consistently applied
    • Provide end user onboarding, training, and support
    • Participate in key business processes (e.g., budget)
    • Assist with business process improvement and technology initiatives

    Qualifications & Skills


    • Experience with reporting/business intelligence platforms (e.g., SSRS, PowerBI and Cognos)
    • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL)
    • Experience with object-oriented software development (C# preferred, Java/C/C++ acceptable)
    • Experience with web front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
    • Intermediate to expert Excel proficiency
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Proactive self-starter with a willingness to learn
    • Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar accounting systems is a plus
    • Prior real estate or financial experience is a plus



    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Major in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or a related field preferred
    • 3 to 5 years of related experience
    • CPA is a plus
